Great trip through the Garden state for Boston! After getting creamed by the Jets, we needed a good showing for troop morale.

Subsequently, we toppled the Islanders and shut out both the Rangers, and our arch nemesis, the Devils.

Proud GM.

It gets better.. just wait for today's post... :P

Edmonton Oilers prospect Justin Schultz, playing with the Oklahoma City Barons,was named the AHL Player of the Month for October.

Schultz, who made his professional hockey debut in October, recorded a point in each of his first seven games, totalling six goals and 12 points - leading the Barons in scoring.

Schultz, a coveted free agent after a strong collegiate career at the University of Wisconsin, signed with the Oilers over the summer.
