Glad I`m not working this month, I`m gonna watch all the STL games :)

So exciting to watch!

Greensman has officially shifted Tarasenko to the 1st line. Also, Bonino has temporarily claimed 4th line center. Watch for rewards based roster to chage accordingly through the year. With this much competition for line promotions Greensman has made it clear that changes will be quick, and they will favour the hot hand.

Boston Bruins

Sedin - Sedin - Tarasenko

Brouwer - Stepan - Stafford

Kennedy - Sutter - Hansen

Wolski - Bonino - Ward

King - Perreault

The Washington Capitals showed off a balanced attack for the third night in a row to keep the young team within the upper half of the league standings.

Some of the key contributors tonight were:

Kyle Turris: The 23 year old looks to be thriving on the top line in Washington. Poised to have a breakout season, Turris scored two goals tonight giving the young man 3 goals in his first two games.

Pavel Datsyuk: The Russian superstar showed why he is amongst the best players in the league tonight with a goal and an assist.

Jakob Silfverberg: Last years MVP of the Swedish elite league and SEL champion earned himself a top six role in Washington after dominating the AHL and working hard at training camp. He scored his first career NHL goal tonight while trying to prove to his coaching staff that they made the right decision in giving him the opportunity.

Ryan Ellis: Although Ellis is currently playing limited minutes in Washington, his name showed up once again on the scoreboard thanks to a nice looking takeaway and assist on the teams first goal of the night. The offensively gifted defenseman now has two points in two games to start the season.

Jordin Tootoo & Marcus Foligno: The two big wingers have been great examples of solid bottom six contributors. Both Foligno and Tootoo dropped the gloves in tonights game proving that players can be key contributors without scoring goals. Although the Capitals have likely the youngest roster in the NHL, they are still trying to prove they can physically compete with the older and more experienced teams.
