If they aren't qualified by July 1st, they are unrestricted free agents. Make sure the agent you're negotiating with informs me that the player has been qualified. Thanks REEEEEEEEE-minder!! The New York Rangers Waive Igor Makarov, with the intention of releasing the player on July 1st. Makarov's two year deal with the Blackhawks would expire in two days if he did not sign a three year deal in the KHL last summer, over teh past 12 months the Blackhawks severed ties to the player. We wish Makarov the best of success and luck in the KHL, where he appears to have settled in nicely. Primal Optimist Posted June 30, 2012 Share Posted June 30, 2012 I am not picking on samjam, but does anyone remember when Parksy videos were at their peak, there were a lot of emulators posting vids on CDC....I seem to recall Samjam had done one, and if I remember it correctly, wasn't he a mentally challenged asian guy? I recall everyone making fun of the video, as the guy in it was sincere, but clearly disabled. I may have the name wrong, but in my mind, it was a samjam vid. I am wondering if his connection may be that he gets regular visits at Canucks Place or something from the team...you just never know, he may have a true connection and not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, as far as his posting ability goes. We are not likely to be a player tomorrow, baring a few last minute trades, some of which are already in deep discussion. I think we have built the strongest team we could, without free agency, and we can, now that the cap is settled, unveil our full roster and firm up our front office commitments a bit more. The New York Rangers will commit another 2m towards our Medical and Training Facilities.
