EmployeeoftheMonth
The Nashville Predators are happy to bring Tim Connolly back into our club. We've liked what he's brought to the table in the past and will continue to bring to the table in the future. We're getting very excited for the start of the 2012-13 season. Primal Optimist
Finnish is certainly a weird language...where Svenske is derived from German, Finn is actually closer to Mongolian, as way way back when the "Horde" finally petered out on their westward pillaging adventure a lot of them settled amonst the Sami's of Lapland, what is now Finnish territory. My cousins speak Swedish, English, Finn and French...and they still live in Finnland...odd place.

Sharpshooter
It is. All 3 of those languages are Turkic based as opposed to Indo-European. The entry of the Finns predates the Horde, PO, by several centuries. There has been a constant migration from central Asia into Europe including also the Bulgars. This is why Finns are not true Scandinavians. They are land based people not boat people. Hunters not fishermen. It also explains their somewhat Asiatic features. They're essentially settled Dothraki.
