We are looking for cap dumps to reach the cap floor along with a top 6 defencemen.

* c2x , can you show my roster on the page?

What exactly do you mean by this? Your lineup is shown. Also, I'm assuming one of those Brad Stuarts is supposed to be Chris Phillips.

I've noticed a few teams over, and a few teams under the cap. Make sure you get those rosters cap compliant before I start on Tuesday!! (Don't forget to check your minor league teams budget as well!)

CLARIFICATION PLEASE:

* So we are using NHL 13 to sim games and we will collect points from this and it starts Tuesday ? We do not even have word of any official NHL games being cancelled.

* Same point scoring structure as last season ?

* How do we keep track of the stats and who is going to be going through each game to give us these stats and where do I go to view my team's stats ?

* Have we confirmed all teams are ready ?

Moulson (82) - Tavares (85) - Havlat (85)
Marleau (88) - Fisher (82) - Brunner (60!)
Nick Johnson (66) - Grigorenko (64) - Kobasew (78)
Brown (72) - Desjardins (72) - Palushaj (75)
Brule (79)

Carle (86) - Hedman (85)
Josi (73) - Oduya (80)
Stralman (73) - Lee (76)
De Haan (69) - Meszaros (84)

Price (90)
Budaj (75)

Top 12 Forwards Average: 77.3
Top 6 Defense Average: 80.7
Goalie Average: 82.5

Think Brunner/Grigorenko are based on Swiss/CHL ratings so they are going to be lower than they should be, and Josi should be higher. Also, not sure how Tavares and Havlat have the same rating.

Tampa Hockey Prospectus Prospect Rankings:
3. Grigorenko
38. Aberg
40. Collberg
44. Jurco
73. De Haan
91. Brunner

That's my roster going into the sim season in terms of depth chart, in case you missed it. Are you taking into account injuries?
In terms of lineup:

Moulson (82) - Tavares (85) - Havlat (85)
Marleau (88) - Fisher (82) - Kobasew (78)
Nick Johnson (66) - Grigorenko (64) - Palushaj (75)
Brown (72) - Desjardins (72) - Brule (79)
Brunner (60)

Carle (86) - Hedman (85)
Meszaros (84) - Oduya (80)**** If we are not placing injured players on IR (If we are, replace Meszaros with Lee)
Stralman (73) - Josi (73)
De Haan (69) - Lee (76)

Price (90)
Budaj (75)

;) Look below.

I took all that into consideration.

It's most likely that I will only post the scores of the games, every few days I will post the conference standings and then once a week or so, the top scorers. Doing a scoring summery for every game would be very time consuming. Additional stats of course are available upon request, time permitting.

It's just something to waste time with -- strictly a SIM, with W, L, OTL etc.

Top scorers will be posted once a week.

If the NHL season actually happens..................we can just stop the SIM.... but really at the is point... just because the games haven't been officially cancelled, they will be.

im all for getting the year going but given the level of confusion maybe we should get some clarification from curt about the issues brought up and maybe push the start date back a bit to make sure everyone gets a chance to finish off their roster?? just my two cents

Ladies and Gentlemen, Your 2012-13 New York Rangers! (*going easy on the formatting, so its just black and white, regular font, as it is a lot of information)

Matthew Lombardi - Matt Stajan - David Moss
TJ Galiardi - Tim Brent - Radek Dvorak

The Connecticut Whale

Carter Ashton - Eric Belanger - Brad Staubitz
Craig Cunningham - Darroll Powe - Zack Stortini
Maxim Shalunov

Jake Muzzin - Ty Wishart
John Moore - Mike Moore

Rick DiPietro

Minors Total: $15,700,000
Minors Budget: $19,000,000
Remaining: $3,300,000

Front Office:
Legal: 0
Medical/Training: 10million
Player Relations: 6million
Player Development: 19million

NOTES:
For folks looking to hit the cap floor, Rick DiPietro is being actively shopped around - Also I am looking for a league minimum forward to get on the ice for under 575 thousand, perhaps one of those could land you a DiPietro?, and for the Front Office, C2X, if there are changes to the format of Front Office, will be allowed to reset it, also will we be allowed to reset it when the CBA agreement is reached and the real NHL goes back to work? In short, is this version of the front office just for the sim'd games on NHL 13 or are we stuck with it till next summer?

Oh man, I saw something on some show that's hosted by Morgan Freeman...about how the whole universe may actually be an intelligent super-being. I think you, me and Bryzgalov should grab a bottle of scotch, a pizza and at least a half ounce of the sticky icky and watch the s*** out of it.

For those in a panic about rosters: get your best team you can under the cap ready: 23 players, up to 14 forwards, 8dmen and 2 goalies..but no more than 23 total, like the regular rules...get that team cap compliant and the sim season is just for fun to fill time while we wait on the lockout...I think if your minor league team is now over the cap too..then you better address it, since by now you would ahve to anyways..but it shouldn't be that big an issue for the sim season and lots of us want to start it sooner than later. Side note: how did you get 15million over the cap on your minor league team? i wish i had that trouble...toss me 3million of that...i have room!

EDIT:
Note that above paragraph is just opinion..i am not an official with the league..haha.....I was wondering, since our league has no lockout: what the real date to be cap compliant is? Should our GM's have a firm date to get their minor leagues cap compliant by ? Or add more front office money to their minor leagues budget...any one officially want to comment? SOrry If my excited early post stepped on some toes.

I need a cap dump of approx. 2 million...

Hopefully I can sign so and so, so I won't forfeit any games.

The Ottawa Senators would like to call up Scottie Upshall and Brett Connolly.

We would also like to release Joakim Lindstrom who has decided to return to Europe to continue his career.
