Primal Optimist
Quiet time around the league, lets have a little debate. Best top line in the CDCGML? Detroit: Parise - Benn - Sharp Boston: Sedin - Sedin - Stafford Buffalo: Landeskog - Giroux - Williams Edmonton: Pacioretty - B. Richards - Kovalchuk Florida: van Reimsdyk - Toews - Neal Los Angeles: St. Louis - M. Richards - Brown New Jersey: Lucic - Kopitar - Ovechkin NY Islanders: Zetterberg - Bergeron - Franzen NY Rangers: Vanek - Thornton - Hudler Pittsburgh: Hall - Malkin - Stamkos St. Louis: Horton - Weiss - Iginla San Jose: Semin - Spezza - Brodziak Tampa Bay: Moulson - Tavares - Havlat Toronto: Ryan - Stastny - Kessel Vancouver: Duchene - Koivu - P. Kane Washington: E. Kane - Datsyuk - Elias Winnipeg: Wheeler - Crosby - Eberle To me, there's Pittsburgh, then New Jersey, then everyone else. I kick myself with my own bad luck. When I was invited to join this league, Pittsburgh was available. Sharpy was invited the same time as we and claimed the Pens just minutes before I did. Sharpshooter
Well, I too am flattered to be near the top half of the league for 1st line comparisons, I guess it comes down to "out of all these lines, who would I trade my three guys for, strait up right now, if i had the choice"..since they are all good its hard to really quantify 'the best'... ...so I would trade my three guys strait up for one of these five....in no particular order of preference: Boston, New Jersey, Buffalo, Edmonton, LA SJ gets an honorable mention with the Semin addition. And the final two are New Jersey and Boston...I can't decide if i want the twins more cuz they are Vancouvers guys or cuz they are back to back top forwards.....I will have to just say Sedin Sedin Stafford is the top line, very close 2nd is Lucic, Kopitar, Ovechkin At least from my opinion, that is how i see it..we all have great top lines though. thus the 'top'.
