Tangerines
Meh, there are more options that should be explored for that position before him IMO. He is a good option though.
Rey
It's good for both parties. Pareanteau is a type of player who is good on a bad team, and awful on a good team based on his abilities. Might as well go cash the biggest pay check of his life while he can. Do not want. Would bust in Vancouver pretty bad. Good play making ability is his only asset. Isn't physical, not good defensively, average skater, Might as well call Brendan Morrison back.

Canucksbiggestfan
Everyone on here is always complaining about more size, yet you all want to sign this guy?!? I proposed we trade for Bryan Little and many said he is not big enough, yet Parenteau would be a great fit? I for one would pass on this guy unless we can sign him for 3.5 million or less. Down by the River
I think that Parenteau got big dollar signs in his eyes when he saw that David Jones got 4 mil from the Avs. It is going to be tough to sign him to anything reasonable, though he might be a nice fit with Booth and Kesler. Moonshinefe
I'd love to have this guy on the Canucks. I seriously doubt there will be another play making winger of his caliber on the market this year and Kesler/Booth could really use him.
ninja321
I'd love to see him play with Kesler but I feel that teams would overpay for him and Gillis will be forced to back out.
Number1Pick
speaking with @BDGallof, he believes the money he wants is around 3.5-4M, with a 4 year contract. I guess thats what the Islanders couldn't agree on, the term. I do remember hearing New York Islanders having interest in Keith Ballard (couple days ago, too lazy to find the source) Maybe we can do a package for his rights + another player for Ballard No this isn't a typical Ballard trade suggestion but I mean, its a win win situation for both sides. Trebreh
Im not convinced he's a top 6 player, a really good 3rd line winger maybe, but if were signing him to be a top 6 player, id pass.. Some Team will overpay to get him and cash in big like Leino, hopefully MG targets bigger fishes (Nash/Ryan)

Pears
I'd take Huselius before Parenteau. But I still wouldn't mind PA.
