Kanata
I'm back again with another whacky proposal. Keep the comments friendly, this is just for fun we are not real GM's: VAN Gives: R. Luongo. M. Spotted Zebra
Ducks get fleeced here. They give up everything you want in a hockey player for a so so Dman prettymuch a second round pick and a depth player?
CanucksFanMike
Trades seem pretty even, but you rarely see three-way deals anymore. Also, Paranteau probably won't sign in Vancouver to play on the third line... he racked up 67 pts last year, that's good enough for the first line on some teams. Where is Justin Shultz in your lines? He should not be scratched. If we don't sign Paranteau and Hansen remains on the third line making room for Kassian on the fourth line then I like it! Spotted Zebra
Luke Schenn is so-so right now, but could turn into an elite defenceman.... He was drafted 5th overall and is still young. He might also have a chance to flourish in Anaheim out of the spotlight in Toronto.
ButterBean
Parenteau on the 3rd line? If he signs here it's most likely in the 3-4m range and he will be playing on the 2nd line with Booth and Kes. Then move Ryan up to the top line and maybe get rid of Burrows or throw him on the 3rd.
nd84
Just think about the rumoured trades and the elements Anaheim apparently wanted in return when Ryan was on the block It was something like a Top 6 winger, solid defenseman/forward prospect and a 1st. something along those lines
Kanata
Parenteau and Burrows could alternate 1st / 3rd line duties depending on how they are playing. While moving Burrows to third may decrease his production, he will have much more to give on the PK and can start 2nd unit PP.

Kanata
Wow man get rid of burrows? He has proven himself to be on the first with the sedins. He is also a playoff performer.

JL44
I heard that the asking price for Ryan was a 1st rounder roster player and a prospect. So what I propose is this. Van Gives: Schroeder, 2012 1st Rounder, May Ray, Louongo Van Gets: Tyler Biggs, Bobby Ryan, Joe Colborne Ana Gives: Ryan, 2012 2nd Rounder Ana Gets: Schroeder, May Ray, Luke Schenn Jesse Blacker. Toronto Gives: Biggs, Colborne, Schenn Jesse Blacker. Toronto Gets: Louongo, Ana 2012 2nd Rounder, Van 1st Rounder Let’s face it AV doesn’t like small hockey players that can’t play a physical game. (Grabner, Hodgson). So Schroeder might not get a fair chance with this team. This trade we get a Big Center prospect, a big winger prospect and a proven power forward. Ana gets a player that can play in their top 6 a center prospect a young shut down defence men and a defence prospect. This might be better than a pick because Blacker has a few years of development under his belt. Toronto gets a stud goalie and some picks for the future.
