stawns Posted June 30, 2012 Share Posted June 30, 2012 There is no goaltending controversy in Van. The decision is obvious IMO with the Schneider contract. Vancouver can carry the two goalies until next March if need be. Granted that is not an ideal situation and I do not anticipate that result. Again my point is that teams with less than premier goaltending run the risk of falling behind their competitors and not being able to make up the points in time to make playoffs like the Flamers last season. As soon as a NHL team is faced with that situation the quicker they will be on the phone to MG to make a deal to save their season.
