They pretend like the term of his contract makes him worth little, even though he has stated himself he likely won't play out the full term. Gillis still has to play hardball. If teams like Florida and Toronto really didn't like the term of his contract, they wouldn't continue to keep calling him back. They want Luongo badly, but they're pretending they don't.
