Neversummer
Looks like the possibility of a Luongo trade to Tor has just got a bit colder ... Gillis is going to look really desperate once he signs Schneider and he has 2 starting goalies under contract.
oldnews
Canucks didn't want Schenn and for good reasons - changes nothing.

CanuckRow
@NHLSourcesSay Oilers and Canucks talking trade, the main component of the deal is Gagner for Luongo, watch this one closely in the next few days.
sampy
Doesn't sound like Burke is offering anything good. Sorry Brian, if your secondary players are not good enough for the Leafs they definately won't make the Canucks. JVR woud be sweet, bad trade for Holmgren. The Sedin's 6th Sense
I think it's safe to say Burke is upset with MG's price for Lu, trades away a key piece to a possible deal, and screws the Leafs and us over. How the Leafs? No Lu = no playoffs. How us? Have both goalies in an uncertain situation. Burke could care less, he knows he'a gonna get fired. Can 90% think TO is off the Lu list - time to talk with Florida.
CanuckRow
@HockeyBreak Slowly but surely the Vancouver Canucks are making progress on a Roberto Luongo trade. Trade discussions are developing.

hockeyville88
@NHLSourcesSay Trading within Lu within the division? Yeah right. Eeew Sam Gagner coming back the other way? No way I'd want that. Plus I think Edmonton has something good in Dubnyk. Not sure they'd want Luongo. Didn't GMMG say that he isn't scared of trading within the division if the trade makes the Canucks a better team? I don't recall but I'd think that if he traded Samuelsson, Hodgson, and Grabner as far away from Vancouver and the Western Conference as possible there's no way he'll keep Luongo in our own division. JensenFan2011
MG just needs to wait a little longer Pavelic is in dicussion with Winnipeg and KHL teams this weekend..... If he bolts to the Khl we have a chance for evander kane
Neversummer
Could you imagine Edmonton with all their scoring and a solid goalie ... oh my. They instantly make the playoffs ... no matter who they put behind the bench. I didn't think Lui would want to go to Edmonton though.

RonnieColeman
Gagner? Really? We really don't need an undersized forward, esp of we keep Raymond and maybe have Schroeder here next year. The team seems unsure of its identity right now, are we big and tough? Or small speedy and skilled? I think a decision to go bigger and tougher was made with the kassian and booth trades and we need to stay the course (hence why I would've loved Schenn)

Edler's Mind Tricks
How do you figure he has a choice? He isn't a UFA (and won't be for a long time).

CB007
Well I was 100% correct about Schenn being moved but 100% wrong about where he was going. There is no way we would allow Lu and Komo straight up. No way!
