Jester13
He wants to improve at goaltending, but if he can't do that at the right price, he's prepared to move forward with what he has. It's not like he needs to get a goaltender cause there are none under contract. Don't find that contradictory at all. If I'm a leafs fan this would be the attitude I would want my GM to have. Obviously I'd love to get Luongo, but I probably wouldn't want to trade a lot of the good assets (that a lot of CDC members seem to expect) for him. Paul_Kariya28
Recent history maybe but it would be pretty hard to top the Neely trade.
Froggy Fresh
You'll miss him when he's gone. I can't wait for Schneider to falter if he's the starter.

TotesMagotes
MG will only trade Luongo to an Eastern conference team. He won't risk the Canucks having to face him in the playoffs. Imagine the crap storm that would rain down on him if we face Luongo in the 1st round and his team steam rolls us? The only teams that make sense are Montreal, Tampa Bay, and Florida. MTL is out. That leaves Gillis to see which florida based team will give up the assets we need.

Jester13
Get over it. Can you see what's going to happen in the future? No! This deal could either be a good thing for the team or a bad thing. In no way will trading Luongo will be the worst mistake made by the Canucks.

Froggy Fresh
What a dumb post. Why would you want any player that's a part of the team you cheer for to fail? Fans like you are Idiots. I appreciate what Luongo has done here and i wish he wouldn't get traded, but in no way does that translate into me hoping Schneider falters. Go cheer for whichever team Luongo gets traded to then if that's how your mind works.
