Maine lost a heartbreaker in Game 2, 2-1 in OT. Hutton went scoreless and finished with 1 shot on goal and an even rating in the loss.

Maine's season is now over. Due to NCAA rules, Hutton cannot join the Wolves or anything like that. He'll just have to gear up this summer for his sophomore season with Maine starting next fall. It's been a fantastic freshman year for Hutton, one he can be proud of.

Thanks for the update. Very good season from him for a 20 year old freshman.

Maine up 2-1 over u mass, Hutton with one of the goals. I just tuned in, but he's getting lots of time/touches. It's on NBC sports network, for those in the USA. I believe this is their opener, so he's off to a great start.

Waiting to see the highlights now

Hutton's goal was a nice short side goal off a broken play/deflection. He was about 3-4 feet out and nearly on the goal line when the deflection came to him. Pretty nice.

man, hutton is all over the place. had a beast of a shift, 3 GREAT chances to put them up 3-2, u mass goalie absolutely robbed him on one, the other two i don't think the goalie even knew where the puck was. pure luck that it's still tied.

Hutton looks HUGE out there, made some great defensive plays, some great offensive plays, and is great at breakout passes. that's what I took away from this game. It's OT right now (5 on 5 for 5 min, and then... nothing, cause it's the NCAA and they'll get a tie)

Maine Wins! Hutton started the play rushing it into the zone, and was on the ice for the PP goal. good stuff.

Good stuff. And yeah, Hutton was listed at 6'3" 200lbs last year at age 19. He was like a man out there already last hear as a freshman from everything I read, and what little (highlight clips) I saw. I'm sky-high on this kid!

Hutton had his 3 game point streak end last night.

He has 4 points in 7 games. Not too shabby for a D-man.
