Canucksbiggestfan
Sportsnet Staff | June 26, 2012, 4:11 pm Winger Wojtek Wolski is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1 after the Florida Panthers did not issue him a qualifying offer on Tuesday. After starting off his NHL career strong with the Colorado Avalanche -- registering over 40 points in each of his first four seasons -- the 26-year-old has battled injuries. His best year came in 2009-10 when he had 23 goals and 65 points in 80 games split between the Avalanche and Phoenix Coyotes. He also spent time with the New York Rangers before being shipped to Florida in the middle of last season. Last year the Polish-born Canadian had three points in nine games with the Rangers, nine points in 22 games with the Panthers, and five points in six games with the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League. The 21st-overall selection in the 2004 NHL Draft has 258 points in 424 career regular season games. Also on Tuesday the Panthers made qualifying offers to pending restricted free agents Kris Versteeg, Dmitry Kulikov and Keaton Ellerby. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/free_agency/2012/06/26/wojtek_wolski_florida_panthers_nhl_unrestricted_free_agents_2012/

Jordan Subban
we should give up our 1st and 3rd for Kulikov. Just saying.
The Lock
Anyone else find it ironic how Wolski and Mueller were traded straight up between Phoenix and Colorado and now both are UFAs at the same time?

GLASSJAW
Wouldn't be a bad pick up, to be honest. Can move up and down the lines, like AV loves Would be an improvement on Raymond, 10,000 fold
protectyaneck
I'd definitely make on offer on Wolski for the right amount.
cdubuya
Wojek Wolski was my favorite player on NHL 11. He had a pretty good playoffs for phoenix after getting traded. Would love to see him sign here for cheap if we can't get any of the bigger names.
Ossi Vaananen
Wolski and Mueller end up walking.... and we keep Raymond?

G.K. Chesterton
Yeah, and it was a huge trade at the time. Shows how injuries can really derail a career.

Walking Paradox
Canucks are bad at shoot-outs. Wolski is great at shoot-outs.
Edlerberry
Would much rather Mueller over Wolski, but both would be better than Raymond.
