-Vintage Canuck-
@TSNBobMcKenzie There's talk, none of it official, Price deal will be 6 or 7 yrs long with cap hit north of $6M, perhaps in the range of $6.5M. We'll see.

qwijibo
Good, hoping Montreal gets Price, Subban, and next year Pacioretty locked up long term. That's a good core to build on
SpursCanuck
WTF $6.5m for Price !!!!!! He is not that good FFS !! Going at this rate Schneider could get close to $4m with all the NM overpayments.
canadiangunner
Good keep em coming. That Lu deal starts to look better and better.
Magikal
He deserves better than how MTL treats him (similar to Luongo here). Here's hoping the learn to appreciate him.
susraiders
It may be a bit of an overpayment now, but he will be worth it in a year.

NightHawkSniper
I'm dumbfounded, 6M cap-hit? he's not that good.
SpursCanuck
Price is 24 and has been a starter for 4 years already, he's been an allstar 3 of the last 4 seasons and has proven he can handle the load with a less than spectacular team playing in front of him. He's already shown he's an elite goalie and will likely only get better. I'd be happy to have him locked up at $6 -$6.5 million for 7 years. At 26 what has Schnieder proven with his 68 games played as a back-up?
ftmN
I love Carey as a guy, just from everything I've seen of him etc, hope he can held Montreal to a better year this coming season.
needtogetswole
I think goalies need to start getting paid a lot more the quarterback in the NFL makes the most money most of the time - without the quarterback there is no touchdowns goalies - theres no saves.. MLB - pitchers make insane amounts of money goalies have always been overlooked without a goalie your team is nothing.

Spoosh
I don't see why Schneider is considered overpaid if you compare these deals. Oh well, high risk - high reward...
