Kass9
It's the HOCKEY Hall of Fame, not the PERSONALITY Hall of Fame.. Most electrifying player to ever play for the Canucks, blah blah, you know the stats. He deserves the HHOF induction. As for a jersey retirement, it's up to the organization. But if I were the Canucks, I'd retire his number.
jsihota15
He scored 60 goals in a era of goltending that had them standing stright up most of the time. For all we know, if the sedins played back then they could be averaging like 6 points a night EACH. And pure snipers like ovi, stamkos, crosby could be getting like 100 goals easily. baggasafri69
SHUT UP NOBODY CARES!!! He was a dick that left on terrible terms and abused steroids to do what he did. SHUT UP!!
RGC
When he was scoring 60 goals it wasn't really the clutch and grab era yet. Of course this is irrelevant because in the clutch and grab era he still scored 58 and 59 goals, so the person who made that other post is a moron. GradinToSmyl
One thing is for sure, I have never seen a player leave the defensive zone when on the PK so quickly when it looked like we might get the puck.

GradinToSmyl
That is what defines a winner-making the split second decision and then putting his or her team in the lead. Pavel did this exceptionally well, leading the NHL in short handed goals twice.Four top ten finishes. Tenth overall in NHL history. Explosive speed and a mind that is quick enough to match the opportunities when presented.
nomz
Also the clutch and grab era. Imagine the damage he could do in this league. Also, I think that was past the stand up era, but before butterfly became the norm.
