Edler0023
As much heat as Luongo has taken and as well as Schneider has played, it's a bit unsettling to have a changing of the guard in net eh? Luongo was supposed to be here for 12 years. Hard to believe his tenure here is over just like that. Hopefully Schneidy can carry the torch for this team and take us to the Cup
Raspberries
Bob McKenzie just tweeted: "Old news by now but Schneider's deal in VAN is three years with AAV of $4M"
DeNiro
So Cory is loved as much as Luongo was when he first came here. Any bets as to how long it takes before fans start tearing him down? My guess is he'll be gone in 3 years if he struggles at all in the playoffs, due to ungrateful fans, and overly critical media.
The Sedin's 6th Sense
Very nice...now to see what comes of Lu: does he stay or does he go? Gonna be a fun and long Summer
King_Canuckian
Great news for Schneider and the Canucks. Luongo, on the other hand, not so much. Luongo is too competitive to be the bench-warmer. I'm willing to bet that MG got the Schneider deal done to force Luongo to waive the NTC for a less than ideal team. Basically he can either be the starter somewhere else, or he can play 30-35 games as Schneider's backup.
erbiy74
personally...i'd rather have luongo reason is because i think the canucks play better in front of schneider because he doesn't have as much experience in big games.. as long as the canucks play well in front of luongo i think the team would be better... you people may get mad at me for saying this but this is my opinion.. Danthecanucksfan
I am really going to miss having Luoie as our goalie, he's the reason why the franchise is what it is today. GoodBye Luo, thank you for guiding this team on the right track, it's a shame it ends here, best of luck, hope you find ultimate glory one day winning a stanley cup. Trebreh
Yes! So excited!! now a Luongo trade in a couple of days should be imminent. Bjugstad or Gudbranson *crosses fingers* Then top it off with the Schultz signing on Sunday.
Rollieo Del Fuego
We honestly don't deserve Luongo we've treated him like crap over these years. Here's hoping he wins a cup one day and that we don't treat Schneider the way we treated luongo.
soshified
I am Super-Stoaked about this. 4 Mil per is much better then Lu's 5.3333333.... Tired of watching loungo flop on his belly, i mean come on man, work your abs. HOPING ITS NOT A SIGN AND TRADE!!!
