Drop Em
Fail. If he broke his arm, he'd be wearing a cast. Wearing a sling after shoulder surgery is common. Edit: Nevermind, I see the cast in the sling now. Or is it a cast?
Brockbuster
He's been tweeting like crazy for a week... no mention of a broken arm and he's partying at the lake!!
Brockbuster
He wouldn't be using the same arm either. He'd of broken the one that wasn't in a sling!!
UFCanuck
According to Kes' latest tweet: Ryan Kesler ‏@Ryan_Kesler It's called a pain pump. But yeah I'm bringing the fanny pack
benivolent1
maybe it's not just his shoulder that had something wrong? I'm not in ortho, so i don't get why he has a forearm cast, unless it's 1. a different issue altogether, 2. somehow meant to immobilize the shoulder (but doesn't quite make sense in this instance) The clear tubing is definitely IV tubing - the white clip is not to control the flow but to lock the line off completely and is inserted into an iv pump. Rounoush
Wow. So many things to take away from that picture. Whether it's if his arm is broken or not, that sweet stache he is rocking or the fanny pack. I don't know where to begin.
S.Mouse!
The picture was probably taken shortly after the surgery on his shoulder. The cast is likely to immobilize his arm during the initial healing, and to protect the I.V. point for the pain pump. I don't think there's a new injury to report here... BM24
hmm that's odd. he wasn't wearing any sort of cast when he was here a week ago doing some public service stuff. not sure if he's gotten injured since then or maybe this is just precautionary?? nucklehead2
The fanny pack is for the infusion pump and IV solution to deliver the pain meds. A little research goes a long way rather than looking foolish. Patients put their IV pump in a fanny pack or backpack and wear it 24/
Kona4lyfe
It's not a broken arm, the cast is there to add weight to the arm to help pull the shoulder down into a proper healing position. I had the exact same get-up on my shoulder when I busted it.
