[Report] Multiple teams (including Canucks) in on Parros

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I do, and last season they did. If the teams fourth line is so bad that you can only put them on the ice for a couple of minutes a game your pretty screwed, especially late in the season and the playoffs. You can't be a role or player when you're on the bench all night.

The Canucks were among a number of teams calling the agent for George Parros on July 1 as free agency began.

The agent for enforcer George Parros says the Canucks called about the tough winger and he had a “real quck” conversation about his client’s services. Agent George Bazos said Sunday morning that he had already two good offers for the free agent and a third that would be acceptable. He said there are five other teams – the Canucks are one – who’ve expressed interest.

Parros, 32, had one goal and four points in 46 games with Anaheim last season and is coming off a three-year deal that paid him $875,000 last season.
