DeNiro
Come on Aquillini's, give Gillis the green light to crack open the vault! 10 years 80 million!!! Edler Suter Hamhuis Bikesa Salo Tanev That top 4 would be insane.
y2kcanucks
Honestly I would be thrilled with Suter, but I do recognize he is another left side defenseman. Would that spell the end of Edler in Vancouver?
The Architect
This league is a joke. If Parise and Suter sign with the Pens, I'm not following hockey anymore haha salary cap is so useless now.

tas
wait wait wait, something bothers me : according to capgeek com, we have the same cap space than the Pens. (in fact with a pending trade of one of 4/5M goalie we have even more) so... why Pens could sign Parise AND Suter and us nothing but a 6/7th dman and/or a bottom 6 forwards??? Vlas=d
because no matter what mike gillis says, and no matter what canucks fans and vancouverites believe, free agents dont really view vancouver as a destination. the canucks dont exactly have a rich history of signing prolific free agents if you havent noticed. DeNiro
wow, you must be kidding. 8M per, for 10 years... and we turned down a 4M per for 10 years for Erhoff? and Edler would command 6.5M at least to re-sign... completly out of hands.
y2kcanucks
People need to realize that the side a defenseman plays on is a significant part of their game. It isn't easy to just move a left side defenseman over to the right side. We've tried that with Edler and he looked terrible in that position. ChuckNORRIS4Cup
11:55 AM – Lots of reports that the Red Wings are visiting Suter at his home in Wisconsin, with GM Ken Holland, Chris Chelios and owner Mike Illitch in the delegation.
