WHL rocks Posted July 1, 2012 Share Posted July 1, 2012 I hope Eklund is right on this one. I have always liked Semin and am on record here saying I would love to have him on the Canucks. Semin is an elite scorer. A game breaker with a lethal shot, pbbly the best wrist shot in the league. I think it will take $6 mill to get him. Semin might have the size advantage but Schroeder plays harder and is more of a leader. There's really no need to pay a bunch of money to a floater, even if he can score goals, when you have good hard working prospects waiting for their chance.
