cripplereh
I'd sign him to a 4 year deal but last year he wasn't at his best and in the contract add "under 90 points he gets a mill less"Then give him 6 mill a season over that time but bonus if he gets over 120 points!!! riffraff
I hope MG offers him 2 years, 6 mil per year. Close to what he could get on the open market in terms of cash, less than the Sedins, and if he does live up to his potential then he can hit one of those 10 year home-run deals. And if he can't live up to his potential playing with two of the top playmakers in the history of the game, then he can't make it anywhere. enterin
I hope Eklund is right on this one. I have always liked Semin and am on record here saying I would love to have him on the Canucks. Semin is an elite scorer. A game breaker with a lethal shot, pbbly the best wrist shot in the league. I think it will take $6 mill to get him. I know its Sedin money but the Sedins signed 3 years ago when the cap was no where near $70 million.

cdubuya
He with his speed and SNIPE along with potentially Doan and Mueller will put us over the top. Sedin - Sedin - Semin Booth - Kesler - Doan Burrows - Mueller - Higgins You can't say no to that top 9.

suolucidir
The Canucks would never engage in a bidding war for a Russian. No chance we sign him.
