DownUndaCanuck Posted July 3, 2012 Share Posted July 3, 2012 We don't need Versteeg, we don't even need a top-6 forward with the Sedins, Burrows, Kesler, Higgins, Booth, Hansen and Raymond all capable of playing in the top-6 and scoring 15-20 goals, let alone Kassian. I'm thinking Jose Theodore will be a part of a potential deal as he'd be a solid backup, and we'd be taking back some cap space. First, he'd have to waive his no trade clause. Give Eddie Lack a FULL year in Chicago. As Gillis had mentioned numerous times, he wants to get younger and stronger. I think it's near impossible that either Huberdeau or Gubrandsson come to Vancouver, but here's my guy: Nick Bjugstad. He was drafted 20th overall in the 2010 entry draft, he's 6'5 215lbs, and he scored 42 points in 40 games with WCHA Minnesota.
