taiwanchik
Gilbert Brule would be a good pickup if he would accept a two way contract. If he can't make the lineup, at least he would add skill to the Wolves.
oldnews
btw Canucks "looking" at every single player in the UFA market. That's what teams do at this time of year. Means nothing.

Special Ed
This just in; The Vancouver Canucks may or may not be looking at all the good players. There is a possibility they may talk to some as well. You heard it here first!
clarkkent
Canucks will not have Shroeder Ebbett and Brule on the roster. I don't think thats what MG has in mind when he says we are getting bigger and younger
elvis15
We have plenty of bottom 6 depth at center, it's at top 6 where we could use the help with Kesler out. One of Schroeder or Ebbett might be able to do it but Brule wouldn't fit the bill. I'd rather we went after Mueller, as has been mentioned. CB007
I say deploy Kesler at the pivotal 3rd line centre and trade for Weiss or Fleischmann or Grabovski. Not sure Grule is the right guy.
GBOY
sign him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! worst case scenario it does not work and he ends up with the wolves.
Beluga Whale
Brule improved a lot last year, 13 in 30 games and and plus 7, i'd take a chance on him.
nd84
Brule could be a good fit at third line center... but he is a RFA so we would have to give up draft picks or aquire him by trade.
tequila
Wow! Can't believe 85% of posters here would love to land Brule... ... a small, soft player and... a mega bust! An AHL player at best. Oh yes,,, he is a Canadian boy and that is enough to sign him!

2013's The Charm
I would actually like to see Brule on the third line. Sedin - Sedin - Semin Doan - Weiss - Kesler Burrows - Brule - Kassian Higgins - Lapierre - Hansen Edler - Carle Hamhuis - Bieksa Garrison - Kulikov Schneider Lack Weiss and Kulikov would be picked up in Luongo trade package. Then sign Brule, Carle, Semin and Doan through free agency.
riffraff
No. It won't. At this point Brule will be lucky to land an NHL job. He is a bust, folks. Even with sheltered minutes, he could only put up a meager 5 goals 14pts in 33gp. 'Oh, but if you translate that to a full season...' So point me to where he last played a full season then. B-B-B-B-B-BUST! No thanks. We already have Ebbett. We already have Schroeder, who has yet to prove that he's a bust or not. TOML
