i would take these guys on my canucks anyday

Recommended Posts

Joel Ward-rw---------3,000,000

Raffi Torres-lw-------1,750,000

Steve Bernier-rw----775,000

Taylor Pyatt -lw----1,550,000

they are true payoff performers and can be moved up and down the line up anytime and any situation. they are in expensive as of now and grit is there what canucks really needs i would keep keep them in 3 and 4th line and if needed they can be moved up just add center we are good for our 3rd and 4th lines

Pyatt has already signed with a new team (Rangers?). I wouldn't mind Joel Ward, but he will be pricey.

Ward's contract is awful. Had one good playoff run. Never had more than 35 points in a year. Points have been falling since 2008-09 (35->34->29->18), and goals as well (17->13->10->6)

Those guys play on the 3rd lines of their respective teams. Our 3rd line right now consists of Raymond, Lapierre and Hansen who I'd much rather have. Smaller, less physical but far more skilled offensively.

Torres and Ward - maybe

Pyatt and Bernier - not a chance. One drifting, perimeter player per team only, and Mason Raymond is occupying that spot for us right now!
