Italia2006
Doug Maclean @DougMaclean Hearing from a couple of agents both players will end up in minny. We will see!! That would be very scary.
JLumme
Even though its in division, I'd like this to happen. Minny is a strong market, and its good for hockey if they have a good team.
RonnieColeman
If true our division will really be stepping it up EDM - got yakupov and Shultz this offseason MIN - might get Suter and parise COL - signed paranteau, zanon, landeskog year older CAL - threw a lot of money at wideman + hudler
Special Ed
If true our division will really be stepping it up EDM - got yakupov and Shultz this offseason MIN - might get Suter and parise COL - cant remember who they signed but made some free agent signings CAL - threw a lot of money at wideman+ hudler
The Brahma Bull
If true, at least we can watch some exciting hockey in our division this season! Oilers will be so fun to watch. Colorado always puts up a good fight. Too bad about Calgary. They still suck. Good job Feaster.
CanucksFanMike
both could end up in detroit.... both could end up in philly.... both could end up in pittsburgh. this is interesting and for once the Canucks might be challenged next year if this is the case but i am gonna wait until they both make their decision before i react. Provost
Even though it may cost us a Presiden't Trophy (less easy points in our division). I would be glad for Minnesota if they got these guys. Great hockey market, but not a place a lot of free agents want to go to. These two guys grew up close by so are a unique opportunity for them. They are immediately a playoff team, though still need some work to be a contender I think.
Provost
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie Zach Parise has agreed to terms with MIN Wow... Detroit could miss the playoffs by not signing either of these guys. They are in some serious trouble suddenly.

Zissou
officially both in Minny. Both on 13 year contracts. Wow. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=399913
King_Canuckian
ironically, it's actually good for us. The division won't be a cakewalk, and if we're still in the race, we'll be in the race to the end. Or else it will signal to Gillis that he needs to make a significant move himself to better our team.
Canucksh
This is good to see... ups the competition for the Canucks, now we will see how good they actually are. Also could make them realize how hard they have to try to be the best in the league while having tough competition.
sQuish
Anyone else think 7.5m a season for SUTER is ridiculous??? The guy is good, yes, but he's not a SUPERSTAR defenseman. Nowhere near worth that much, especially for 13 years. Weber made him look better than he is.
