Rodzilla
Think of how many years the Canucks fans on here can make stupid trade proposals to try and get them on their team.
#1MinnWildFan
Agreed, total sour grapes from everyone talking trash about these deals, not just Canucks fans either. If the Canucks had signed these two to the same deals people on here would be planning parade routes. If the Wild thought for any second these deals would handcuff them now or in the future they wouldn't have done them.

InTo ThE WiLD
Nah, I highly doubt that. Those deals are look pretty horrid to me and if the Canucks had them, the words "parade route" would not even come close to mind.
Bieksa's Quote
I guess everybody is happy then , we got players we like and we believe to be good for our team , including the guy who captained the Devils to the Stanley cup finals And these guys were not worth on your list so everybody's good like this
Baercheese
Suter is a great player. But after him, it's: Tom Gilbert Marco Scandella Clayton Stoner Jared Spurgeon Nate Prosser Justin Falk Even with Suter, that is not a Stanley Cup contender level D-core...not even close. ...Matt Dumba very well could make the team right out of Junior. After him, the only really solid defensive prospect they have is Jonas Brodin. If those guys pan out, it will be a very good D-core in a couple of years. But barring another trade or signing (little cap room left), I'm not scared of them at all right now.

oldnews
Parise and Suter have provided the Wild with contracts that would not hamstring the organization. The signing of these two marquee players will not affect the Wild's ability to sign and retain their large pool of arguably the best young talent of any team in the NHL. The way the Suter and Parise contracts are set up, the Wild will take a minimal cap hit in each of the years of the contract. Well done Wild front office. I think the NW division just got much more interesting.
