Done deal, Parise is a Wild

Boom. Big day for Minnesota fans.

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=399913

Defenceman Ryan Suter and forward Zach Parise have both agreed to terms on 13-year contracts with the Minnesota Wild.
Suter scored seven goals and 39 assists in 79 games with the Predators in 2011-12. He was selected to represent the team at the All-Star Game in Ottawa.
He is coming off a four-year, $14 million contract he signed with the Predators in 2008.
The 27-year-old Suter had spent his entire seven-year career in Nashville after the team drafted him with the seventh overall pick of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He has scored 38 goals and 200 assists in 542 career games with the Predators.
He was also part of the Silver Medal-winning 2010 U.S. Olympic team.

Sweet, The dope thing is that they will still continue to miss the playoffs.

The Wild have been, and always will be, one of the worst examples of how to run a hockey club.

It's alright, they still have no quality offence or defence.

Suter and Parise going to the Wild is both good and bad for the Canucks.

The Bad - Obviously the Wild and Northwest got a whole lot tougher.

The Good - GMMG now has to make a move to keep pace and stay ahead in terms of improving the team.

Exciting things to come I'm sure.

Wow 13 years each. Parise's a good player but honestly Suter is super overrated.. almost the same stats as Kevin Bieksa.

Yea I'm very keen on seeing what Suter will do without Weber, I'm personally glad we were never going after Suter

Weber to Canucks

Now I really like to see Weber shaft the Preds by accepting their 1 yr Qualifying Offer and then bolt to the Canucks next off-season.
Our D's must make opponent fowards going to the net PAY THE PRICE

Yeah,

I wonder what kind of player Suter REALLY is

Playing in the NAS system, paired with Weber can definitly make a D man look better than he is.

And for that matter since when is a 70 point forward worth 100 mil?

Free agency is retarded
