TOMapleLaughs
Crazy money was coming, no matter the destination. The Wild went from crap to excellent in one off-season. That's crazy. TOML

George_Costanza
thank god its a bad team that got them. better than having a stacked team become more stacked! also, absurd contracts that will likely cripple the club later on.
DollarAndADream
I came on the computer to check if for some reason maybe my text from TSN was wrong. I don't think I've ever been so rattled by something that another team has done. I'm stunned that the captain of the Devils...who went all the way to the Finals last year, would just leave like that. To Minnesota of all places. It's home to him I guess, but they have done horrible for a long time. So our division rival gets BOTH of the biggest Free Agents this year? Usually I'm pretty easy going, but I wonder what MG is thinking. I told myself I would cheer for whatever team Parise goes to.....but I don't know if I can do that here. My NJD Parise jersey...................................
GarMonster
With the money the Wild now have tied up with these two guys, they will have trouble balancing out the line-up for years to come. Stupid money, stupid hockey move by Wild management. ...imho that is.

Te@m1040
Will Suter Be SUTER with out a Weber? I'd like to watch a couple games first. Before i give them the "power house" name
The Sedin's 6th Sense
Props to the Wild for landing BOTH Suter and Parise - unbelievable, big time props. There goes all the speculation about big hockey markets only being able to reel in big time players, big big big plus for Minny. Feel good for them, an it'll make our division a bit harder now. Koivu, Setoguchi, Heatley, Parise, Granlund, Clutterbuck = good top 6, prolly better or equal to our Canucks' forward top 6...MG, time to suck it up and make a move of our own - Doan or/and Semin, get it done

oldnews
Good for Minny - an actual hockey market. Also nice to see they didn't take the worn path to Detroit. Welcome to the Northwest basement Calgary. p.s. however, overpayments.

Te@m1040
Could be stupid long term as Suter and Parise will be 40 and their cap hit will still be 7.5 but the Wild right now have become a really good team and have made life harder for us.

iLLmAtlc
I'm pretty happy about this. Good to see what we'll have some meaning games in the northwest again, it feels like it's been a while. Also happy they didn't goto Flyers or the Penguins. Personally I don't feel like this is going to be enough to make the Wild an elite team. When you have that many holes to fill bringing in 2 guys like that can probably be considered more of a starting point. If I could make one loose comparison it'd be the Blue Jackets bringing in Carter and Wiesnewski. Obviously Parise and Suter are better players but the point is you need more than 2 players to improve a lousy team.
