nowhereman
Wow, way over-paid. Zach Parise has never finished top ten in league scoring. Ryan Suter wasn't even the number one d-man in Nashville. Makes no sense, 100 million!
Ossi Vaananen
Ya, Weber is going to make scary money...
forklift_ole
Ok, this is super scary I admit, but remember, the Rangers tried this same sort of thing not too long ago, before the cap, and couldn't even make the playoffs. Minny won't be able to afford any more free agents for a long time, and they won't be able to re-sign the young players they have now. Still, for the first couple of years, yikes. Caboose
Wow 13 years each. Parise's a good player but honestly Suter is super overrated.. almost the same stats as Kevin Bieksa.

Millerdraft
Not a fan of a 13-year contract for a diminutive (albeit stellar two-way) player. That's 6-7 years too long for a guy that's, what, 27/28? Yikes.

Millerdraft
Bieksa is a product of Hamhuis and Mitchell, Suter is a product of Weber. Good thing stats don't mean diddly.

-Vintage Canuck-
Salary breakdown for Suter/Parise: $12M next 2yrs, then $11M, followed by 5 yrs at $9M. Last five years are: 8, 6, 2, 1, 1.
Thirteen
Edmonton doesnt scare anyone. They have accumulated a lot of skill. But none of these guys are the type to put a team on their back. Plus they need a legitimate goaltender which is almost impossible to find.
