MoneypuckOverlord
Not after what he said about the Canucks. Pretty much severed his forever ties with the Canucks.
oldnews
love BMo, but we have Lapierre and Malhotra signed - we also have two first round picks in our system, including Schroeder who is ready for a crack, and are likely to add another center via Luongo trade. Don't see how Morrison gets minutes with all those players here vying for bottom six minutes.
riffraff
Bmo is a legend. But retirement freedom thirty five plan would be swet
Kesler's Nose
Last time he had a try out, it didn't work out too well... lol He ended up in Calgary and we ended up looking like dip sh*ts. I'm not sure if he will be signed anywhere else or not, but did anyone else notice 15g, 25a = 40 points?
nanaimo
What did BMO say? I only recall that he was upset over not getting signed after the pro try out. He did play well in the preseason I recall but don't know verbatim what it was he said.

Jägermeister
Don't see it happening. That try-out would have been a good story if he had made the team, but now it would really just look like pity. Plus a "sympathy signing" doesn't sound like the kind of thing that will bring us a Cup.
John.Tallhouse
Morrison is on his way out, I'd sign him tho if he truely wanted to play here.
-Vintage Canuck-
Trade for Bertuzzi. Sign Morrison. Get Naslund out of retirement. Naslund - Morrison - Bertuzzi for our 3rd line.

Yuglot
15=25=50 secret techniques on how to get extra 10 points with actually doing it is truly secretive and could bring us to cup. Do share please. Morrison doenst fit on the roster he'd be in the ahl after a month
Visp
No sympathy signings. Steve Tambellini did not offer his own son a contract to stay in the NHL.

Primal Optimist
I like the guy, but there is an old saying "you can't go home again". It would be a mistake to bring him back here.

CmdrAdama
As much as I'd love to see a WCE era centerman on the Canucks, B-MO's time is done. Loved him while he was here. Let's turn the page, and really push for Doan, someone that can contribute offensively. I am definitely not dissing your idea; would love him on the team, but he just doesn't fit anywhere. Spencer Drew
Morrison wasn't prepared to fight for a job here two years ago, he wanted an NHL job guaranteed. So why the hell should the Canucks offer him another chance, now that he's unemployed. It's always been a business to Morrison, so it should also be a business for the Canucks. Why do people have this sort of silly and useless idea. We need to go forward, not back.
rawkdrummer
We gave Morrison a training camp tryout only a couple years back and then we passed on signing him and we instead signed Peter Schaefer. Morrison played well in that tryout and because he played well Calgary signed him and then last season they traded him to Chi town. Canucks tryout = 2 more seasons for Morrison. More Sympathy you ask? You must be related and looking for a handout.
Danthecanucksfan
He is currently a free agent that could be had for cheap who would obviously relish playing out his career in his home province. He'd be a good 4th line depth player, power play specialist if Garrison ends up a dud. Not that I think he will but anything can happen! Just think this would be a good signing instead of guys like PATRICK MULLEN, ANDREW EBBET AND STEVE PINOZOTTO <----- career AHL'ers. BMO is tried tested and true and could do what he did in Calgary and surprise us once again. I say he's good for at the very least 15g-25a-50pts
