Soccer has too many long stretches of nothing interesting happening.
Baseball is monotonous.
I love football, but the commercials can be tedious at times.
That's why hockey is the best. It's always got something going on. The perfect amount of scoring, big hits, fast paced, always exciting. It's also by far the best sport to watch live.
That said I love to play all of these sports, despite being terrible at them.

Dance/syncro swimming/etc are boring because I really don't see a point to it, even though it looks incredibly difficult.
Racing isn't exciting unless theres a collision.
I enjoy all the other ones though, including golf because I LOVE golf and everything involved.

I bet when Schneider turns 38, he will have broken all of Luongo's records.

NASCAR has done the same thing, notice how there is always a phantom "debris" caution when someone gets too far out front, and always in the last 20 laps or so to close up the field?
basketball is just so manufactured It's designed to be a close game. Intentional fouls, the amount of time outs, getting half court when you call a time out.

I don't mind baseball and I'm fine with soccer. Basketball, I'll only watch if it's like good teams (Lakers vs Heat for example)

Certainly going to be our #1 defensemen. Give him a couple more years to improve his game and he'll be our new and improved version of Matthias Ohlund in no time

Such a shame baseball has so many votes, it really is a great game once you get into it. It also has one of the greatest legacies of any sport. The problem with it I believe is that it hasn't really "evolved" like many of the other sports have over the decades.

golf and tennis how the hell do people watch these two throw in nascar and f1 races im sure they are better live but don't see golf and tennis being any better live
Im going to go out on a limb and say you haven't played much tennis or golf. To be entertained and appreciate what pro golfers and tennis players do, most people really have to understand how difficult it is to do what they do. Hopefully that made sense and helps.
