Bob Singh
Luongo IS the the greatest goalie.
Smashian Kassian
Luongo. Without him we wouldn't have the team we do today. Not to mention all the records, memories and stuff.

ABurrows14
As most everyone will agree, Luongo is the hands down winner in the greatest goalie in Vancouver history, and that is largely the truth. I am still very stunned that so many people want to run him out of town, its flabberghasting to me. Sometime in the next 11 months Schneider, who is a very capable starter quality goalie, will lose 3 in a row, maybe 4 and the same folks who want Lu gone as soon as humanely possible will pull out the long knives on Schneids. I have been a fan of this team for over 30 netminders worth of time, I know what I am talking about.
Wonderine
RL's record speaks for itself, KM record speaks for itself. So that being said I go with Kirk due to family ties and the fact that he would drop the gloves quicker and be more successful than Lu. Iconic moments also go to Captain K. Lu has had some great saves with many more to come. Kirk's Jersey's rocked. As far as masks go they both have had some great ones. Kirk McLean still wins out for us. Hockey Fever
It's obviously Louie, but i still like Mclean more. I just think he is an all around better person, and we were never expected to go all the way in '94 so just better memories. Mcleans big, clutch, timely saves stand out more for me. scottyP.
Hopefully in ten years it'll be Cory Schneider.
Mclean1
Mclean was my favorite canuck growing up, but you can't compare the two...Luongo is a world class goalie
cmpunk
Luongo was the only reason we were in the Anaheim series, we kinda sucked in 06-
HockeyHobo73
Luongo = Greatest McLean = Most liked McLean had much less expectations than Luongo has.
Drybone
I have the greatest luck in seeing both Luongo and Mc Lean in their primes in Canuck sweaters. There is no doubt in my mind Roberto Luongo is the better goaltender but its not by a whole lot. Good news is that in my opinon Cory Schneider is as technically sound as Mc Lean . This is excellent news as Mc Leans was considered to be the most technically sound goalie in the NHL (including Brodeur and Roy) in his heyday but was not as nearly as naturally gifted or athletic. linden16kesler17
Luongo the American?? http://www.wsop.com/...&rr=5&curpage=2 find Luongo on the page.. American flag from Florida..!
Gran Turismo
Wow, does that ever anger me. I have been a Lu supporter, but if he's classifying himself as an 'American', then get him out of here. I know it has nothing to do with hockey, but in my opinion, there's nothing worse than bailing on your country and I can not and will not root for him if he's choosing to be an American. Visp
Big friggin' deal. Does that negate the fact that he plays for Team Canada during international hockey competitions?
Drybone
Not really a big deal if the WSOP put those details there but if HE is choosing to be American after that gold medal game, I would say quite a big deal..
Kass9
^Even if I had dual citizenship, I'd still classify myself as a Canadian because I that is the country I was born in.
