Another question I'm asking. Who was the best Leader? Obviously, some don't have a chance, but might as well mention them. My vote goes to Linden.

linden or smyl....problem is, most fans never watched smyl or any of the earlier captains.....i think smyl was the consument captain.....

It's Trevor Linden by leaps and bounds. Hardly even worth questioning it, only Canuck to ever score when it really mattered.

Well, I reckon it was Squire Barnes. That pasty man used to pull his pants down when he sensed the team wasn't listening, which really got the Sedins' attention. (Yawzaa! Humadda!)

Gunna have to go with Linden. Guy was one of the classiest, most respected players in the NHL. He was the heart and soul of the Canucks franchise while he was there. Nazzy and Smyl are definitely right up there with him.
