[Report] Semin to Penguins

Recommended Posts

Pittsburgh seems like the perfect place for Semin who was struggling with the Capitals which in fact is not that crazy as the Capitals as a team have been struggling.

By going to Pittsburgh he could play either on the first line with Crosby which would make it way much easier for him to score or on the second line with Malkin which would provide him with great passes and good friendship too as they both speak the same language and could prolly be room mates on the road and share alot of off ice moments.

Also maybe the strong winning tradition and stability of Penguins along with Mario Lemieux, Crosby and Malkin could make him work harder, have more heart and passion along with a more professional mentality...

I'm tired of ppl talking about Semin's negative character when they don't have any clue on how he really is. The fact is Semin took a 1 year contract to play in WSH when he could have cashed in as UFA.

Most ppl prefer Suter and Parise, what did they do? They both bolted. Parise was a captain of the Devils and he left the team, if he was Russian he'd be called all sorts of names. Soldier means loyal, so far Semin has been loyal to the Caps even though he's had to put up with all sorts of negative crap.
