gizmo2337
Kesler will start the season on LTIR. We have more than 3mil cap space even if Luongo stays for now.
TOMapleLaughs
Btw if Doan leaves Phx, he'll likely want to sign as close to Phx as possible. That's not Vancouver, folks. More like Anaheim, LA, Colorado, San Jose, or Dallas. 'Family first', right? Why would he want to cross the border if he didn't have to? Yes, his agent said Doan would like to sign in Vancouver. He also said Doan would like so sign in every town who's media called him.
Hank Moody
Well I'm assuming that IF he did come to Vancouver it would be the same reason both Hamhuis and Garrison chose to play for the Nucks. They both don't live in Vancouver yet they still wanted to come back to BC.
suolucidir
Y'know... There is the possibility that Phx doesn't want to keep Doan. He's 35+. He'll want a 4yr, 4.5mil per deal. And while there are teams that would love to pay that, is Phx one of them? I guess we'll see. But if he leaves, it doesn't necessarily mean that the Coyotes are too. Kumquats
Maybe they just do shrooms in their own version of the Joshua Tree?

Jägermeister
Doan is 100% class. The more and more this saga drags on, the more and more I like him, and the more and more I want him on my team.
UFCanuck
Let the bidding war begin, my bet is on Detroit, cuz they still have 16 Million in cap space . Canucks only have 3 mil. They can't add any players before getting rid of Luongo.
BigFoot44
Doan is a heart and soul guy...Something our team lacks, "A natural born leader" who will battle to the bitter end for his team.

Bill F-ing Murray
Summer house in Kelowna, owns the Kamloops Blazers. Wife stays in Kelowna until the kids school starts. If he doesn't go to Phoenix I think he will sign here.

NucksCelts
Sure, but even then? Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE it if it was a big factor for him, but in an NHL season where teams play every 2 nights, sometimes even 3 times in 4 nights, and have long extended trips on the road, practices almost every day and team meetings etc how many times a year, realistically, will he be able to actually fly up to Kelowna? Alex the Great
We actually have a lot of heart and soul guys. Henrik is a heart and soul guy. What we lack is that big, strong body that will put the hurt on the opposition. We don't lack soul or heart.
