northernnuckfan Posted July 11, 2012 Share Posted July 11, 2012 I think Jason Arnot would be a perfect fit for the 3rd line centre position. He could fill in on the 2nd line until Kessler gets back. He is big, strong, and plays hard. Then if we can sign Doan as well our line up would be: Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Booth-Kessler-Doan Higgins-Arnot-Hanson Lappierre-Malholtra-Kassian I would sign Arnot for 1 year 2.5 mil and Doan for 2 years 3.5 mil. This guy is a 20 goal, 40 point producer and can play physical too, one of the most underated players in the NHL. Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Booth - Kesler - Higgins Raymond - Hecht - Hansen Lapierre - Malhotra - Kassian Bitz A 3rd line that can score 50-60 goals is impressive - you win Cups with that kind of offensive depth. And he could really help us, he is an enormous upgrade on anyone we have right now who could fill that spot. Not to mention he can play wing in the top 6 when needed.
