This is my first time doing this, so please go easy on me :)

Caryle plans on putting JVR as center on the first line with Lupul and Kessel, that would free up Bozak as they have Grabovski on second line,Lombardi third line and McClment/Steckel on the fourth line, i do think one of these player can fit in to Kelser's role as the season opener and move down once Kes comes back.
He had 47 points,18 goals, -7 rating for only 1.5million

To Toronto:
Luongo
Raymond
3rd round

To Vancouver
Bozak
Kadri
1st round

Sedins-Sedins-Doan
Booth-Bozak-Burrows
Higgins-Lapierre-Hansen
Volpatti-Malhotra-Weise/Pinizotto
Kassian and Kadri is mainly call up to replace injury players

I wouldn't be apposed to that, I might like to get Grabovski though.

Althought that's a big contract, and I'm not sure they want to part with him.

Kadri won't make the lineup. I guess Bozak would be a good fit for the 3rd line center.

But in the end Luongo's not waiving to go to Toronto.

Yea his 5.5 Million cap hit its going to stinks when Kes comes back and I don't think he should get a big contract like that.

Yeah I know, it would be nice to get him though. but if we got him and still were able to create space for Doan then I would do it forsure.

Explain to me why it would make sense for him to waive his NTC to go to a team where there's even more pressure?

I dont think the pressure is that big of a deal for him.

I think he has adapted to it here, and he is fine with it now.

He just has to move on because we have Cory and he wants to be an unchallenged #1 and get a fresh start.

He's a competitive guy and I think he would like the challenge of being there and having the pressure, being on a team that has missed the playoffs, and where they need him.

I just think he would like that challenge and he would like the pressure (atlest to start), & he want's to stay where hockey in big imo

According to cap geek it works, so we will have around 155,000 in cap space with Doan Kes and Grabov
We might need to throw in a 2nd round

This is true, however he wants to be able to win a Stanley Cup, and there's no chance of that in TO.

Lets be honest here.

There's no chance whereever he goes.

It will be FLA or TOR, cause I doubt Chicago will offer enough because there offer would have to be significantly better than FLA or TOR's.

And niether FLA or TOR are ready to win the cup yet.

His best chances are here obviously, but at least FLA has some chance, since they can at least make the playoffs, and should be able to every year with a guy like Lu in net. Whereas TO has no chance unless something drastically changes there.

I really don't want Kadri. He's just a decent prospect who won't live up to the hype.
Bozak would be a decent 3rd line center I guess, but he is best suited for a top 6 role which he is nowhere near good enough to get on our team.
It's not a bad proposal, I just think we could do better.

Burke doesn't want to part with Kadri

Kadri might not be a A.v type of player.

Again, not lying, Burke is not interested in Luongo trade.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

http://bleacherrepor...d-top-prospects

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

exactly. in the end roberto holds all the cards no matter what we or anyone else thinks. out of the frying pan into the fire for luo? highly unlikely. besides, imo we get a better deal from florida since they have been dance partners with us on so many occasions and the x-factor, burke, isn't involved.

Tallon has said he won't be trading any of his top prospects (Bjugstad, Howden and so forth) and its not like they have any roster players they would be willing to move that we would want.

Toronto could very well offer a better package.

Explain to me why it would make sense for him to waive his NTC to go to a team where there's even more pressure?

The pressure is essentially to get them into the playoffs, expectations and pressure are way higher in Van.

CHANGE KADRI FOR FRANSON

I hope your kidding...

AV won't use Kadri.

Could very well be this years Hodgson, and definitely has a higher ceiling than Schroeder.

That looks good to me. I think that's a pretty fair trade proposal. I really hope we can get Doan. Having him on our team would be incredible; he would solidify our top-6.

It's not bad but I would rather do this:

Trade Luongo for Grabovski
Trade Grabovski, Raymond, Kassian, Schroedor to ANA for Ryan (Overpayment but that's what it will take)
Sign Doan

Sedin-Sedin-Doan
Booth-Kesler-Ryan
Higgins-X-Burrows

Just need a better 3rd line C and we are set

Grabov is highly regard cnetre for Burke, I don't think Burke won't do a 1 on 1 deal for Luongo.

If Gillis wants Weber I think he can do this:
To NSH
Ballard
Edler
Raymond
Schroder
Kadri
Sauve
1x 1st round pick

To VAN
Weber
3rd round pick
Poile will get 2 top dman. 2nd line winger,2x 1st round prospect and 2nd round prospect. 1st round might get him another prospect. I think its fair for NSH losing Weber

Decent proposal but I don't think there is any way Burke is giving up his 1st rounder and without the 1st it doesn't seem like a fair deal. Bozak would be a decent replacement for Kesler on the 2nd but I'm not sure if he is a shutdown C on the 3rd. Kadri most likely will be a decent player in the league but gets crap on for being a leaf prospect. Still not enough though if the 1st isn't included.

Luongo

Raymond

To Van

Bozek

Ashton

1st round pick 2013

I believe Ashton to be a better NHL player than Kadri.

Yeah I think Luongo likes being the star of the team and stealing games, he seems to play better when he faces more shots.

Yeah exactly, when he's active he is at his best, the perfect example was during our run to the finals, in the SJ and BOS games (that we won) he faced alot of shots and was the best player on the ice (atleast against the Bruins).

I don't even know if Bozak can play in the NHL outside of Toronto. He's a crap player getting first line minutes with two other really good players. Of course he's up points. I'd pass. Way rather have Mattias.

"What players need is the right kind of strength and power. That includes learning to understand that leverage and positioning can be just as important as raw strength when it comes to winning battles in the game. It's more about timing and athleticism --and avoiding injury--than it is about how much you can bench press. I don't know how many times I've seen a guy with the physique of a defensive end line up a guy half his size, only to bounce off when he connects. Sure, there is room in the game for big guys who can throw their weight around. But for the most part, players are smart enough to see them coming--and strong enough to protect the puck when they arrive. There are trainers out there who know how to devlop hockey-specific strength--though a trainer can help only if a player follows the program. All too often, I've seen players sign up with the best trainer, but not show up for their workouts and never to reap the benefits."
