It gets frustrating seeing every post about how were going to get SHEA WEBER... We are not going to get SHEA WEBER because GMMG wouldn't spend 9m on a player. You can get two players for 9m and be an impact right away.

Yes I'd love to see SHEA WEBER on the canucks but that means raises for the Sedin's will certainly have them making 8-9m even though they probably would want to take a discount..

Kesler would be bumped up in pay...

to be a great team and win the stanley cup.. you need to be a balanced team that's what we had a couple of years ago when we went to the stanley cup final but just fell short.

You can't have two guys making 8-9m - you would certainly be lacking in other areas unless you've got rookies that are on there rookie contracts.

Garrison is a great signing and our top 4 all can play as the top 2.

we need a balanced team which we currently have - if we add DOAN, even better.

flame away or agree but that's what I think.

MG begs to differ, he would give 10 Million a year to a player who should be retired, at the age of 38, but your saying he wont give 9 million to a player who's a stud at the age of 26 turning 27?

Just in case you had forgotten take a look.

On the day of free agency, newly appointed general manager Mike Gillis of the Vancouver Canucks offered Sundin a lucrative two-year, $20 million contract which, if signed, would have made him the highest paid player in the NHL. http://en.wikipedia....iki/Mats_Sundin

"The game has been with me for a long time, if the right opportunity came about, you never know"
