RyanKeslord17 Posted July 13, 2012 Share Posted July 13, 2012 I've been thinking, everybody hates Raymonds perimeter play, it's frustrating and sickening to watch him go up and down aimlessly. So I thought of this idea, why not move Raymond to center? This forces him to stay in the middle and use his speed to creat chances for his wingers. Plus, we are in need of a reliable 3rd line center, and Raymond is also very good defensively. The only problem is faceoffs and the fact that he isn't that big third line center we always wanted. I for one really want to try this out for a good period of time though. And if it really isn't working, we can always make a deadline deal or insert Manny or Lappy back in there. Here is my lineup with Raymond centering the third line: (With Shane Doan) Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Booth-Kesler-Doan Higgins-Raymond-Hansen Manny-Lappy-Kassian Without Doan: Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Booth-Kesler-Kassian Higgins-Raymond-Hansen Manny-Lappy-Volpatti/Weise/Bitz Thoughts?
