There were games where he was our best forward on the ice, working hard every shift and scoring some important goals. I remember one beauty where he stole the puck on a short pass from the defenders deep in their zone and undressed the goalie before anybody realized what had happened. He may not have been the best regular season player in terms of work ethic, but the guy battled come playoff time.
