And again another Loungo thread where all the CDC hockey experts think Loungo is going to get us some significant piece. Seriously what is going on in your head when you think that Chicago would give up either Toews or Sharp in a deal for Lou??? Really you guys make it hard to keep reading this non sense. Chicago maybe gives up some prospects in the Saad, Smith, Krugar catagory but laugh in Gillis face if he even mentions Toews or Sharp. It's amazing the fans that come out of the woodworks when a team has a few good seasons. This board is becoming a joke.

Though this isn't one of Luongo's preferred destinations, they still are interested. What do you guys think we'd be getting in return if we traded Luongo to Chicago? How would you react to the trade if it did happen? I'm sure that a lot of you hate hearing about topics about trading Luongo but that's too bad. ;)

Several posters here seem to think that Luongo playing for Chicago guarantees them a Stanley Cup. Why would a team like Chicago, who are now merely a shell of thier championship team, be able to win a Stanley Cup with a proven playoff basketcase?

Aside from bombing in the SCF, Luongo couldn't get this team out of the second round and I would say that the last three years of this Canucks team are much better than today's version of the Blackhawks.

Toews and maybe Hossa. Not really interested in other players. Trade to Chicago imo is very doubtful. The Chicago-Vancouver rivalry was starting cool down, but has now been intensified again by that hit to Sedin. I highly doubt Gillis would think about trading Luo to Chicago, now just makes them a better team and much harder to play against.
