Bieksa's Quote
Doesn't necessarily have to be plain rock. It can be borderline metal. There are a lot of classics. Some of them I've listed in my post in another topic earlier: my favourite song from the 90s (after the obvious choice of Smells Like Teen Spirit) is probably Everlong by Foo Fighters, which is even today my favourite rock band; in part because there aren't enough great ones left anymore . Minus some of the filler in their albums - and they've got a large discography anyway - it's pure genius. I still think their 90s stuff is their best, but their last album is a pretty close second. I also love Soundgarden though - Blackhole Sun, Spoonman, Outshined and Rusty Cage are just awesome tracks. Oh and Live To Rise is a new one from the Avengers Soundtrack. It was pretty sweet, not quite as good as vintage 90s Soundgarden but still a song where you think "this definitely doesn't need more cowbell!" Alice in Chains - Man in the Box. Pure brilliance. Stone Temple Pilots - Plush. Same deal. Tool - Sober, Eulogy (underrated), Aenima. Love it all. Helmet - Unsung. A masterpiece. Prong - Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck. A classic. Pearl Jam - Jeremy, Even Flow. Jeremy is easily among the most memorable songs out there. Smashing Pumpkins - Zero, Cherub Rock. Pantera - Cemetery Gates. Needless to say how awesome that song sounds. Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction. Nirvana .. I'm pretty sure everyone knows all of their biggies. And there's obviously a bunch of other stuff. You can't have a complete list of great stuff from that era..there's just too much. Those were certainly the days.

Sharpshooter
I would have preferred one of these as the Tool choices over 'Sober'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V12O9kwNLQ&feature=related

Slender Man
IMO, the best music was released in the 90's, so this is tough. Big Wreck - That Song There's actually quite a few good songs off of their album In Living Memory Of, but I'll go with the one above. The Flys - Got You Where I Want You Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta Weezer - The Sweater Song Placebo - Pure Morning I Mother Earth before and after Edwin left the band Foo Fighters of the 90's, too hard to pick one song Plus loads of Tool Those are the first ones that come to mind but there's obviously tons more. Bieksa's Quote
Disagree about what, the song or that the bands have better songs? For example AIC is one of my favorite bands but I'm still pretty confident that most people would agree with me that Man in a Box is far from their best. But you're right it is all subjective, and I'm choosing my favorites - not the bands' top singles. Oh and you're welcome. PJ Harvey - Down by the Water Faith No more - King for a day Radiohead - Karma Police Meat Puppets - Oh me Ministry - Bad Blood Smashing Pumpkins - Rhinoceros Black Crowes - Remedy Jeff Buckley - Eternal Life
