Gally
Well we didn't score, but 2 fights and a penalty for intent to injure shows we played hard to the end, congrats Gally, rooting for you the rest of the way

gmen81
Happy with 6th overall. I will be keeping this pick too. Good to see the Rampage move onto round 2. Markstrom was huge for us. Hopefully the offense steps up next series though. Congrats to those teams moving on and congrats to Romo for winning the lottery.

canucklax
Lottery pick mock draft 1. Philadelphia Seth Jones a tough call with Mackinnon being dominant, a lack of young defenders after Cowen and Schenn makes Jones the pick, wouldn't be surprised to see it go the other way though 2. Buffalo Nathan Mackinnon the worst team in the league gets the best prospect, he'll center their top line for the next 15 years 3. Columbus Sean Monahan after taking Ryan Murray last year, Columubus takes a Toews clone in Monahan to build their forward group around 4. Anaheim Alex Barkov With 2 picks back to back, Anaheim has a lot of choices, but the finnish sensation could learn a lot from Selanne 5. Anaheim Rasmus Ristolainen Despite having a ton of offensively talented blueliners, Luca Sbisa is the only young shutdown defender they have, RR would give them a tough, responsible defender that still has the puck skills to play alongide any of their offensive guys 6. Florida Ryan Pulock the team needs a young defender much more than a forward, so the uber-talented Wheat Kings captain will head to sunny Florida, could make a great partner to Travis Hamonic one day 7. Winnipeg Elias Lindholm the swedish forward who can play center or wing would look great on a line with John Tavares, Jets had no one come close to matching JT's production, but Lindholm would make a fantastic 1-2 punch for Winnipeg 8. Phoenix Jonathan Drouin Phoenix has talented wingers and defenders but is missing a piece up the middle, Drouin would solve that with his amazing puck skills. Plays wing with Mackinnon but has also spent time at center 9. Colorado Hunter Shinkaruk A talented winger that could set up Landeskog or Duchene for the next 10+ years solves Colorado's problem on the wings 10. San Jose Curtis Lazar Thornton and Marleau aren't getting any younger, and Logan Couture is the only young top 6 forward they have. Lazar would develop nicely as a 2nd punch after Couture 11. New York Islanders Zach Fucale the isles have a ton of young talent up front and on defense so the organizational need at goaltender is filled by the best one in his draft class, making 3 Halifax Moosheads in the top 11 picks 12. Nashville Valeri Nishushkin The Russian forward is a risk to never come over, but if Nashville can get Radulov and Valeri working together in Tennesee, very good things could happen to their offense 13. Washington Josh Morrisey a team with unreal young talent up front, Morrisey would hep solidify the backend playing with one of Carlson, Alzner or Orlov 14. New York Islanders Andre Burakovsky The winger would join a large Swedish contingent on the island and would work well with their other young forwards like Schiefele, Miller and Coyle
