Boedker, Pirri, Colborne, Baertschi and Caron looking like top propsects right now, all in the top 10 of AHL scoring.

Hits: Once again, very good. No randoms in here (like Steffan Elliott in VHL :P) All guys known to hit.

Glad to have two beastly prospects coming up in the near future.

I definitely agree with you about this being even - it seems to be quite a bit better than VHL, although maybe that's just my take.

There's something going on with the stats leaders page in VHL, just for Elliott - it seems to be doubling all his stats. For example, you will notice that on the stats leaders page it says he has dished out 144 hits, however when you check his personal profile it only says 72 hits. Here's proof: http://www.cdcvhl.co...r.php?player=17

Erik Karlsson league leader with 52 points!

How accurate do you feel this game is?

For the most part not bad, I think every team has guys who aren't performing near their real life counterparts, but at the nhl level pretty good.

The AHL is messed up though, having unknown players screws up stats and when a team wins, or comes close while having only a handful of players signed, it is frustrating for gm's who have put together full rosters to see a 3-2, 2-1 win or even a loss come against these unsigned teams

Bring Back the Totems!

I don't mind the way the stats are turning out the only thing would be Karlsson leading the league in points but I guess it is not to far fetched

PK and Intoewsables did a great job and I know it was a lot of work for them

There are only a few teams who haven't filled out an AHL roster yet and I am trying to get them to do it
If they don't comply I will replace them with someone who will take the 10 minutes to PM me some players they would like to sign

Stats are fairly realistic however the AHL is wack IMO. Lots of average prospects over-achieving compared to the real life studs.

However you guys did a good job on the re-rates before the league started!

Prime example, Defenseman Clay Wilson: http://cdcsimleague....php?player=707.

Although, this does happen irl sometimes too (Burrows).

Like what has been said previously the AHL stats will be wacked cause teams who are winning 8 - 0 and 9 - 0 to teams with no AHL roster

This will inflate the stats of most players

Just a note for those to all the teams who are PMing me about contracts:

If you intend to re-sign players who were overpaid in their previous contract, they will generally not halve their salary. Depending on circumstances, I may reduce their next contract by 25% if you could make a good case for them (things like better role, minutes, importance to team, etc). The odds of getting the full 25% reduction is slim so it could be anywhere below that. I feel it's not fair to players who were basically signed as 'cap fillers' to suddenly take a huge hit because of some organization's stupidity. It's your responsibility to manage cap space, not the players.

Nice to have Bozak get his first two points at a Coyote (Goal and Assist). Took four games, but that's okay. Chubarov with another goal too, nice! Two big games from Tarasenko as well.

Nice to see Little with a three point night right after re-signing with the Coyotes.

Ouch, got spanked by the Pens...guess it wasn't a good idea to give Lehtonen b2b starts against a division rival and Team Crosby.

Fehr and Goc both got injured for an extended period of time. Gonna have to decide who I want to fill those spots. It was nice to see a win against Winnipeg.

San Antonio continues to win the AHL. They are getting contributions from all 4 lines it seems too.

Erik Karlsson is a beast guys.

He is playing on the best team in the league afterall :P

3 guys in the top 10!

Haters goona hate but going into this league Ottawa was NOT a competitor. I turned this team around into one of STHSs biggest threats

Its because Karlsson is da best! He got 78 points in 81 games IRL and he is playing with better players than IRL Ottawa. Schultz as a partner, Liles as a PP partner, Kessel, Spezza, Michalek, Read, and now Roy.

This all plays a role in Karlssons game. I also give him top ice time.

And I am not one of those teams am I? I remember it got screwed up once. I dont check my AHL very much but I do set it up properly

Great to have Tyler back for another year, hopefully he can find his place within the organization. It was a rough year for him in Ottawa.

Going to try and re-unite the Schroeder - Kassian duo that did so well in our pre-season... If only Whitney didn't hurt himself.
