UMB
David Legwand has agreed to waive his NTC to a playoff/cup contender who can offer him top six minutes and 2PP minutes. While it is unfortunate that we are forced to trade Legwand, we see that this is probably a good deal for both sides, as we really need to shed cap and we feel we are wasting David's amazing TWF talent on the third line, as well, we have young up and coming third line center Nick Spaling. By accepting a trade David also gets to play in a top six role. Get your offers quick on this TWF stud, he can score (75SC) and he is a stud defensively (80DF). Only 31 years old! Looking for a 4th line Center and Winger, as well as picks/prospects and AHLers
AV.
So you sign Weber and Suter and bring in Nabokov, signaling that you're vying for the cup, but you go out and trade Legwand? Shedding cap? Sigh..
