Could just be Poile looking to build morale in Nashville / give the perception that he is in the race (or setting up another disappointment depending on how you look at it).

The Rangers are still the NHL version of the Titanic.

Imo, the Canucks (of course) are his best option, for all the right reasons...

6.7 million a year for 4 years. No freakin way. too much money and too long a term. Doan's a good player but he'll only stay that way for maybe another two years at most. His play is already declining. Also, no way he makes more than the sedins. I know the market and salaries have increased, blah, blah, blah, but no one will make more than the sedins on this team while the sedins are still on their current contract.
