With all of this Weber talk, I'd just like to point out that 4 Canucks D-men made the list of top 30 in the league. That's 15%. BOOM.

That list looks pretty flawed. But Canucks d-men are underrated on most lists these days. Good to see some props at least.

Thanks for posting the link.

I especially liked the line, "it's tough to argue that there is a better trio of defensemen in the league than Edler, Bieksa, and Hamhuis."

Hamhuis is behind Bieksa :sadno:

Hamhuis is definitely one of the most underrated defensemen in the NHL. It's good to see Pietrangelo getting some recognition as one of the better D-men in the league though. He should be a Norris candidate in the near future.

Couldn't agree with you more (regarding both Hamhuis and Pietrangelo).

Hamhuis should be much higher. Probably would swap his spot with Edler's, and then Edler swaps with Bieksa.

It's bleacher report, you know its a joke when Kuba, White, Boychuk, Wideman, Garrison, Del Zotto, are placed where they are.

My thoughts on this list:

- Mcdonagh and OEL should be in the top 30. They are already some of the best young d-men in the league.
- Why is Kuba, White, Boychuk and Garrison there?
- Hamhuis, Doughty should be higher
- Del Zotto, Kronwall, Boyle are too high
- Where is Girardi, Myers, Hamonic, Giordano?

Lol don't get excited the list is absolutely ridiculous, Hamhuis behind Bieksa, Wideman, White, Gonchar, Boychuck, Del Zotto, Timmonen and ect. are way too high on the list, and where the hell is Girard, McDonough and Ekman-Larssoni!! Whoever made that list doesn't know much about hockey.

The Canucks have 3 of the top 30 highest scoring NHL defensemen in Bieksa, Hamhuis and obviously Edler when healthy. No other team can say that.

Not bad.

Then you have people that don't even include Edler in their lists which is a slap in the face.

Boychuk over Hamhuis and Garrison... PLEASE...

p.s. many players' positions I do not agree with...

p.p.s. Kesler #30 for centers? Goalie rankings are RIDICULOUS...

Elias Lindholm will win the Calder and will be a norris finalist this year. He will be on this list in a couple of months.

Lol at Bleacher Report. Can we please stop making uneducated blogs out to be the expert hockey authority. Realistically Hamhuis and Edler should make a top 30 list but no one else on the Canucks roster.

What the hell are you even talking about? First you don't include Edler in your top 30, which is insane, but whatever, that's your choice. Then this Lindholm character will win the Calder and be a Norris finalist this year? 1) He's not even NHL eligible. 2) He's not a defenseman.

He is a defenseman, Anaheim drafted him 6th overall this year. I think you are talking about Hampus Lindholm, who is a forward.
