On June 24, 2010, Mike was named as an assistant coach for the Anaheim Ducks.[4] Previously he was the general manager of theSudbury Wolves, and was also the head coach of the club for whom both of his sons, Nick and Marcus, played prior to playing in the NHL. Foligno was fired on November 30, 2011, along with head coach Randy Carlyle.

Scott Arniel, Nolan Baumgartner, and now Mike Foligno? Man, we're gonna have one of the best coaching staffs in the AHL.

Wow, this is shaping up to be a really solid coaching staff. This is great news for our prospects.

Along with coaching Marcus and Nick, he coached Frank Corrado in his first season for Sudbury.

I wonder if he'll do his famous jump every time they win. :bigblush:

Yeah, AV is the devil, he totally is an idiot who has never had success before, and is sad really how he is running a team that he never was part of making successful into the ground. He also chews gum and intentionally makes us lose!!! He hated Hodgson and he hates Ballard and he loves Rome and Raymond, worst idiot ever!

Haha, If you think he is a good coach that is your opinoin. Obviously failing in the playoff countless times doesn't meant anything, same with his buddy Bowness.

Solid move when you can add that amount of experience (both as a player and a coach) to mentor young prospects. He should be able to give the forwards a lot of advice during their development while Bomber helps out the d-corps. Arniel will be the puppet-master with the game plan when it's go-time!

Really? We made it to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals for fracks sake. There's like, 20-25 active coaches without cup rings. That means they've all lost either in the playoffs multiple years or not made the playoffs. I guess they're all bad coaches, right?

Look at the teams we've lost against. Every time we've lost, it's either been to a team better than us in the regular season, or the eventual cup winners.

Yeah look at all those epic failings.
