At least if the Jets move into the Central conference, they may not be the worst team now.

@DarrenDreger: I'm told Rick Nash trade to NYR is done pending trade call. Stepan not included.

Nash is hugely overrated, if they give up a ton of their young depth like Dubinsky, Kreider, Stepan, or Hagellin, I can guarantee you that they won't be nearly as successful as before.
Sig too big.

4 pieces for Nash. Gotta be Del Zotto, JT Miller, Dubinsky and CHristian Thomas.

I speculate 4 as he typed "s". It's well known he uses a BB and s and 4 are the same key.

I have a feeling Howson finally gave in, though Del Zotto and Miller and Dubinsky plus picks most likely isn't that bad for an overrated player in Nash. Columbus's defense will look good with Defence with Del Zotto and Murray being partners? Good youth, offence and defense.

Ouch, no Stepan in the deal is a major win for Sather. Howson needs a potential star coming the other way, or else he should've drafted Galchenyuk.

I think Howson gave in rather than Glen Sather giving into Howson's demands

I hope there is a Kreider or something intriguing in there. Hagelin, Anisimov, and Del Zotto are average players, imo. Dubinsky, as it stands had a bad year and a bad contract. If I'm columbus, I'd want something bigger.

This is true, Howson has to get some quality back, not just quality. I say Kreider, Del Zotto go back the other way.

Jim Halpert: That is weird.
Dwight Schrute: This is not funny. This is totally unprofessional.
Jim Halpert: Okay, well you're the one who lost the desk.
Dwight Schrute: I did not lose my desk!
Jim Halpert: Okay, calm down. Where was the last place you saw it?
Dwight Schrute: Okay, who moved my desk!
Jim Halpert: I think you should retrace your steps.

Well the Central Division just got a whole lot weaker. Lost Suter, Lidstrom (retired), Stuart, Weber (still to play out) and now Nash.

I bet the Rangers just got rid of all their depth for one player....

That's how Sather rolls.

They do have johansen and jenner in the system, could be their 1-2 in the future at center

Hoping the Nash acquisition negatively effects the Rags' ability to acquire Doan.

OMG we could've had McKeown!

I think Virtanen was a terrible pick given that he's out for 6 months which will hinder his development. You don't pick someone at #6 under that circumstance, along with the fact that he was given a 3/5 IQ (aka he's dumb).

God dammit Benning. WHY VIRTANEN? Terrible move.

Down by the River - Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.

I thought Howson would just sit on Nash until the trade deadline when teams got desperate. Rangers must be worrying about Weber in Philly and offered something worthwhile.

Who cares. Stepan isn't a type of guy who would do much in Columbus anyways. He's only a support player. Brassard is better anyways.

Rangesr were interested in Nash long before any of this weber thing started.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

That 4th piece better be huge, or Howson just got hosed.
